Why Beachbody?

Why Beachbody?

I’ve been asked that question several times since beginning this portion of my journey. Why Beachbody? There are so many programs out there for at-home workouts, so many different supplements and meal plans to choose from. What about this company and its products made me say yes, not only to using them, but to representing them, as well?

Quite simply, Beachbody is the best product in its industry. The sheer number of workout programs isn’t the impressive part. When evaluating companies, always look at quality over quantity. Offering hundreds of workouts isn’t enough. Are those workouts nothing but high knees for half an hour? Are they something out of an 80s movie with Jamie Lee Curtis and John Travolta? Will you be stuck with impressive glutes but arms too weak to open up that pickle jar?

What is impressive is how they’ve maintained that quality over the years and through over 600 workouts. Take, for example, Hip Hop Abs. It may look silly, but it’s a legitimate workout. Each move is in place to serve a specific purpose, and they’re choreographed to make working out fun instead of monotonous. All of the Beachbody programs have that level of quality. They’re created to work your body to its maximum potential and they range from novice to a level of expert I may never reach. Couple this quality with nutrition plans created to help take the guesswork out of healthy eating, and there’s no question as to why Beachbody.

You won’t find another company on the market that incorporates fitness, nutrition, support, and accountability like they do, and none of the other companies offer a library this size for under $100 a year.

The second most-asked question I’ve encountered is about the cost. Why pay for workouts when you can just look them up for free on YouTube? You can find some seriously kick-butt workouts on YouTube. If you know how the body works and are familiar with its mechanics, you may even be able to piece those individual workouts into a full-blown routine. It takes time and patience to do it, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

I have neither the time nor the patience to do that.

You get what you pay for, and I pay for a database full of recipes, tips, and advice. I could spend hours researching the best ways to tone my upper body, or I could press play. My time is valuable, and the value of paying to have this information at my fingertips is immeasurable.

Beachbody isn’t for everybody. There is no one sure way to lose weight, gain muscle, or be healthy. But instead of asking why Beachbody, ask yourself this: why not?
