I was adamantly against using Beachbody before I started coaching.
It was a pyramid scheme. It didn’t work. Why drink a shake when you could just eat real food??
Then life hit. Hard. I ended up a stay-at-home mom of a preteen and two toddlers. I’d worked at least two jobs since I was 16 and was floundering without a source of income that was my own.
My husband would have bought anything I needed if I’d asked, but I didn’t want to ask. I wanted to something for myself, a way to help support the family and gain back even a tiny bit of self-confidence.
A friend from high school reached out at just the right moment and I was hooked. I told myself I’d try it for three months then quit if I didn’t make any money.
Fast forward three years and now coaching is my full-time job. My husband homeschools the younger kids and I spend my days smashing diet myths and guiding post-partum women through their fear of food.
I had no background in fitness or nutrition. I was 40 lbs overweight, had 10 followers on Instagram, and was the LEAST likely candidate for coaching…
…but I also had a team behind me who cheered me on the whole way, a company that provided training and incentives to launch my business, and, most importantly, the DRIVE TO SUCCEED!
