ARC Review: Cluelessly Yours by Max Monroe

Cluelessly Yours evoked so many emotions!! It was a wild ride with a million twists, hilarious banter, seriously swoony moments, and a beautiful relationship between a mom and the man who just wants to lighten her load.

This is an interconnected standalone in the same world as Accidental Attachment and, more loosely, Best Frenemies. Sammy, the sister of the main character in AA, is a single mom in her 40s who’s been beaten down mentally by her ex-husband. She’s trying desperately to survive her new reality when two separate men enter the picture: Gavin, a businessman who doesn’t flinch when her kids cause problems and Noah, a friend of her sister Brooke and a man her children adore.

“The right guy helps your life…not the other way around.”

I’ve been a single mom, and man that quote got to me! There are good men out there who make life easier…and there are men who just want to watch you suffer. I’m so happy Sammy finally found the former!!

I know not everyone loves a love triangle, but I really enjoyed how this one was handled. It kept the reader guessing as to who was in the hospital bed next to Sammy and what would happen to them. Some people may be able to see all the twists coming, but I loved the suspense of it all!! I genuinely cried during several parts of this book, but I also kicked my feet in excitement at just as many scenes!

Cluelessly Yours officially tied with The Pact and Tapping the Billionaire as my favorite Max Monroe book. And the revenge portion at the end…🤣🤣. I expect nothing less from Brooke and Sammy!!
