2019 Holiday Meal Plan
Need some yummy – and healthy – choices for the holidays? Look no further! I gotchu with this fancy schmansy 2019 Holiday Meal Plan!
When you’re trying to eat a little healthier, the stress of the holidays can reach a boiling point.
Do I eat the macaroni and cheese or not?? Are there too many carbs in stuffing?? If I eat a piece of pumpkin pie and do 20 jumping jacks, do if I even have to count the pie or can I pretend I never ate it??
Don’t act like those questions have never ran through your brain. We’ve been hard-wired to place far too much weight (word choice intended) on our food choices around the holidays.
Having a holiday meal plan to use for inspiration is just one small thing that will hopeful help alleviate this stress. Holidays should be spent enjoying family and making memories, NOT worrying about what you can and can’t eat.
Included in this holiday meal plan is:
- cookie dough hummus
- double chocolate cookies
- sugar cookies (with no refined white sugar)
- roasted kale and cauliflower salad
- mac and cheese with broccoli
- caramelized pearl onions
- stuffed pork loin
- smoky baked beans
- spinach and artichoke dip!
You deserve to eat. You deserve to eat the foods you like. You deserve to love yourself even when you’re stuffing mac and cheese in your face when there’s a salad two feet away.
