What in the hell is a health coach, and why would you need one?

The Institute for Integrative Nutrition defines a health coach as “a wellness authority and supportive mentor who motivates individuals to cultivate positive health choices. Health coaches educate and support clients to achieve their health goals through lifestyle and behavior adjustments.” 

A health coach listens while you talk about what triggers your unhealthy behaviors. We examine your life and habits together and pick something that works for you.

What a health coach does:

  • Helps you discover where and why you’re struggling;
  • Helps you implement small changes;
  • Cultivates a growth mindset;
  • Provides support and accountability

What a health coach doesn’t do:

  • Force you to live their lifestyle
