What Is a Challenge Group?

I’m sure you’ve heard people talk about challenge groups either on Facebook or Instagram. They’re advertised constantly, but are rarely explained outside of private messages. So what is a challenge group?

Challenge groups range from 30 to 90 days long. They’re either ran on Facebook or using the My Challenge Tracker app. In the challenge groups, I provide nutrition and fitness tips, meal plans, motivation, and accountability to help you reach your health and fitness goals.

What do I need to join a challenge group?

  1. Beachbody On Demand – There is a vast assortment of programs for you to choose from on Beachbody On Demand. Cardio, weight training, dance, yoga, and even pre- and post-natal fitness programs are available. Each program comes with a nutrition plan to keep you on track and a workout calendar so you know what to expect throughout the challenge. There is no guesswork involved; everything is spelled out in simple terms to make reaching your goals as easy as possible!
  2. Shakeology – This is your daily dose of dense nutrition. Taken with a little milk or water, and it makes a perfect snack. Mix in some fruit, peanut butter, or spinach, and you have a full meal on the go. It contains super foods, anti-oxidants, digestive enzymes, pre- and probiotics, amino acids, and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. These help improve your energy levels, digestive system, heart health, and lessen your cravings.
  3. You! – In order for a challenge group to work, you have to work. Your nutrition won’t always be perfect. Your workouts won’t always be perfect. YOU won’t always be perfect. That’s okay. Progress over perfection. Have faith in yourself, me as your coach, and the creators of these programs to get you to where you want to be. 

Why should I join a challenge group?

  1. There is a something for everyone, from beginners to elite athletes, dancers to lifters, and for people who’ve never worked out a day in their lives.
  2. Adulting is hard, and it doesn’t leave a lot of time to take care of ourselves. I’m a work-at-home mom of three, primary cook for our family, and I swear the only person who knows how to put away the toys. I don’t have time to go to the gym and chug my pre-workout only to be immediately called down to the Kid Zone because one of my sons bit someone. These at-home workouts let me avoid the hassle of loading everyone up and worrying that today will be the day my child tries to takeover the daycare. You can workout early in the morning while everyone is asleep, or you can have your kids join you so they see just how important leading a healthy life is.
  3. These program are extremely cost-efficient. No monthly gym fees, expensive personal trainer sessions, or appointments with the nutritionist. Your gym is where you are, your personal trainer travels with you, nutritionists are available to answer any and all of your questions, and you get a health coach (that’s me!) to work with daily to ensure you succeed on your journey!
